Motor and Home DirectFollowing the foundation of Taxi Direct Insurance Services in 2002, Motor and Home Direct Insurance Services was established in 2004 to provide car and home insurance to Brightside customers.
We have diversified as we have grown to offer niche products including business car, motorhome and high value car insurance. We also offer a ‘wholesale’ facility to other Brokers, to transact Minibus and High-Value Car insurance.
Taxi Direct specialises in providing dedicated insurance to the private and public hire markets, diversifying into minibus insurance in 2006.
We have grown rapidly with combined sales increasing from 6,800 policies sold in 2004 to over 25,000 new policies and over £15m of premium written in 2009.
Kevin Davies is the Managing Director of Motor and Home Direct. Kevin has over 26 years experience working in the insurance industry. He previously worked for Hill House Hammond before moving on to set up Bryce Owen Davies.
We now employ over 60 people and are based in the outskirts of Torquay.
Motor and Home Direct employs a group of highly experienced people who are committed to delivering the highest level of customer service by maintaining a friendly and approachable relationship with all their clients.
Moving forward we will grow our business by maximising our core business areas and using our experience in meeting specialist insurance needs to enhance our current range of niche products.
