Founded in November 2002 to satisfy the business insurance needs of Commercial Vehicle Direct’s customer base, we have grown fast to become one of the UK’s leading Business Insurance brokers.
We offer a diverse range of insurance products including, Property, Tradesman Liability, Motor Fleet, Courier and Haulier, Motor Trade, Goods in Transit, Contractor’s and Professional Indemnity insurances.
In seven years of trading, ONE Business has seen strong growth year-on-year.
By the end of our first full year of trading in 2003, we had sold over 2,000 policies and had achieved a written premium of £1.5million.
By 2009, this figure had grown to over 27,900 policies with a written premium of over £18.5million.
ONE Business now employs in excess of 85 staff from its offices in central Southampton.
Darren Box is Operations Director of ONE Business. Darren was one of the original founders of our business and became Operations Director in December 2006. Darren joined the company with over 15 years in the insurance industry, having previously worked for Bennetts Insurance Brokers.
Embracing the trend of increased internet buying, ONE Business has embarked on a partnership with Norwich Union to launch a selection of online insurance propositions. We already have six live products and have more to come.
These initiatives, matched with the traditional brokerage approach upon which we successfully built our brand, will ensure that ONE Business remain a key player in the Business Insurance marketplace for many years to come.
