Commercial Vehicle Direct has expanded rapidly since its inception, quickly becoming the leading provider of commercial vehicle insurance to the UK market with over 480,000 insurance policies written since the business began.
We sold over 82,000 insurance policies in 2009 alone, generating over £37million of premium written. We now employ over 170 people and are based in our Group Head Office in Aust.
Commercial Vehicle Direct's Operations Director is Andy Mason. Andy has 22 years industry experience, previously working for Colonnade Insurance Brokers, Nat West Bank, Nat West Business Insurance and Hill House Hammond.
Andy joined CVD In December 2004 initially as our Contact Centre Manager and was appointed Operations Director in November 2008.
Our business continues to build year-on-year. We estimate two million commercial vehicles are on the road in the UK in 2010 and the commercial vehicle insurance market remains buoyant.
